Copy Editing

Service Description

Copy editing includes checking grammar, punctuation, spelling, and fact-checking. Double-check the table of contents, footnotes, bibliography, etc. (if applicable). Double-checking consistency of actions. Fixing echo words, checking the accuracy of the timeline, and checking for the correct sequence of chapters and page numbers. A minimum of 3 hours is booked for this appointment. This time allows the client to go over their style sheet, unique terms, timeline, and any other requirements with me before the editing begins. The total cost will be determined by the length of time it takes to complete the project, and an invoice will be sent with the finished product.
